We got food there on New Year's Eve. Was warm at home (15 minutes drive) and just as tasty as in the restaurant.

We were very satisfied. The daily menu was very tasty. At first we thought it wouldn't be much, but it was more than enough and the meat was also perfectly prepared. We both got full. Very nice staff, thank you very much

Wasn't that screaming. Food was ok but not justified for the price. Well won't order there again. Once and never again.

Because of Corona for the first time not eaten on site, but ordered to be picked up. I was surprised how good the meat and fries were at home. Practically no loss of quality - great!

Unfortunately it was closed because of Corona. But the food should be very tasty. Maybe next summer

Value for money

The waitress was unfriendly and she forgot the order. The meat of the burger was ok (not good, not bad, nothing special) but the taste and the consistent of the cheese was like a chewing gum. I would not say, it was bad, but it was definitely not good.

It is no longer what it used to be. That has nothing to do with the present day. The salad was very different from usual (Caesar salad). It tastes terrible. Steak was good as always. We won't be going there anytime soon.

Very tasty and very attentive service staff. The children were immediately given crayons and pictures to color in.

The food is absolutely excellent fried and the dessert is perfect! There is nothing that could have been done better. Seldom have eaten so well. Block House is highly recommended. I would come back anytime!

We were there without a reservation and waited briefly for a table. But that was also ok. I love the baked potato with sour cream. Despite the full terrace, it went quickly and the service was friendly. Oh yes, my friend thought his steak was great too??

There is delicious freshly grilled meat and a large selection of drinks. There is a children's menu and friendly staff. The fries just heavenly. Many dishes have garlic bread which some like more than others.

Pleasant place, good meals. Visited twice, once I had to ask for drinks several times and recieved a different meal then ordered but that might have been just a miscommunication.

Although it was quite busy in December, At the reception, the waiting customers were handled very confidently and extremely friendly, and there were also small snacks to eat. The estimated waiting time was roughly the same as the announced one. I found the food and the atmosphere very pleasant, even though it was relatively loud that day that is also the only small point of criticism.

Food is great. They are open late too. Staff is friendly and many speak English. They also have multi-language menus.

Best Steak in Town

Despite not having reserved a table we we're lucky to be immediately seated. Very helpful and friendly staff greater and pampered us. The steak was almost as good as home grilled. It was on point rare, as ordered. The salad was a little too little. The grilled veggies came in a sauce Hollandaise, which was not too much to my liking.

Steaks are really good. Prices are high but you cannot buy the quality with low coat generally in a city center.
